MODI LED Wall Light MD-WL189 2W Up-Down IP65 Exterior

Built for exterior walls, the MD-WL189 throws light up and down a facade rather than out into the space, giving the grazing effect used on gateposts, boundary walls and entrance elevations. Each LED runs at 2W, and the fitting comes as a four-lamp version drawing 8W or a six-lamp version drawing 12W, so the output is stepped by adding emitters rather than driving them harder.

The body is die-cast aluminium finished in powder coat, with a glass lens and an integrated optical lens over the LEDs. Casting the housing in one piece and potting the constant-current isolated driver inside it is what earns the IP65 rating, and it is the reason the fitting can sit on an unsheltered wall through a full rainy season. Colour rendering is rated at CRI 80 or better, with light output from 770 lumens on the four-lamp version.

Both lamp counts are offered in black, and the four-lamp version also in white, so the fitting can either read against a pale wall or disappear into a dark one. Rated for ambient temperatures to 50C and a nominal 25,000 hour life.
