MODI B1 Glossy 45A AC Switch Gold Silver and Grey

Heavy appliances need their own isolating switch, and the MODI M1-029 in the glossy B1 finish is the 45A version of that switch. The higher current rating is what separates it from an ordinary lighting switch: it is built to carry the load of fixed appliances rather than a few lamps.

Three glossy finishes are offered, glossy gold, glossy silver and glossy grey, so the plate can be matched to fittings elsewhere in a kitchen or bathroom instead of defaulting to white. The panel is high-quality PC, self-extinguishing and flame retardant, and the internals use selected copper parts that are one-piece moulded, corrosion resistant and made to keep their shape under repeated switching. Terminals are wired from inside the plate, which shortens installation time on site.

Usual positions are next to an electric cooker, an instant shower or a water heater, and in commercial kitchens and laundries where a local isolator is required at the appliance. Cartons hold 100 pieces for contractors buying in quantity.
