MODI B1 Glossy Double 13A Switched Socket M1-016 2 Gang

Two switched 13A outlets on one glossy plate, the M1-016 is the double socket in MODI's B1 Glossy range. It is finished in glossy grey, glossy gold or glossy silver, which suits the wall behind a TV unit or a dressing table where a plain white plate would stand out against darker joinery.

Each outlet has its own switch. The plate is high quality PC, self-extinguishing and flame retardant, and the internal parts are selected copper, one-piece moulded, which is what keeps both outlets gripping properly when a double socket does twice the work of a single. Wiring is made at internal terminals behind the plate.

Doubles belong where more than one thing is plugged in permanently: entertainment units, bedside tables, desks, kitchen worktops and hotel writing desks. Specifying doubles rather than singles at those positions is the cheapest way to keep extension leads off the floor. Packed 50 pieces per carton, in line with its larger plate size.
