MODI M1 Double 13A Switched Socket M1-016 2 Gang White

Ask any electrician which socket comes back on the variation order and it is usually the double. The M1-016 gives two independently switched 13A outlets on a single M1 flat plate, in white, gold, grey or black, so it can be specified from the start rather than retrofitted.

For the plate itself MODI specifies high quality PC, self-extinguishing and flame retardant. Current-carrying parts are selected copper, moulded in one piece for conductivity and resistance to electrical corrosion, and both outlets are fed through internal wiring terminals that keep the connection compact inside the box.

Fit them at bedsides, behind televisions, at study and office desks, beside kitchen worktops and at reception counters. In apartment work, a double at each of those positions and singles elsewhere is a sensible balance between cost per point and the number of adaptors the tenant will eventually buy. Cartons contain 50 pieces.
