MODI Bakelite 15A 1 Gang Switched Socket MD-KJM014

Part of the MODI Bakelite range, the MD-KJM014 is a one gang switched socket rated 15A, aimed at the heavier fixed loads that a standard 13A point is not the right choice for. It belongs to the MD-HWD5010 series of switched socket outlets.

MODI specifies strictly selected copper internal parts for this series, chosen for electrical corrosion resistance and conductivity, and formed by one-piece moulding so the contact keeps its shape through repeated plugging and unplugging. Wiring terminals sit inside the accessory, which speeds up second fix and keeps conductor tails tidy behind the plate. The panel is high quality PC material, self-extinguishing and flame retardant.

A 15A point is the usual answer for a water heater feed, an air conditioner, a workshop machine or a heavy kitchen appliance in a rental block.
