MODI Bakelite Double 13A Switched Socket MD-KJM043

Two switched 13A outlets on one plate, the MD-KJM043 is the double socket from MODI's Bakelite range and the most-used accessory in most wiring schedules. It sits in the MD-HWD5011 series of two gang switched sockets.

Each outlet is independently switched. The current-carrying parts are selected copper, one-piece moulded for consistent grip on plug pins and specified by MODI for corrosion resistance and conductivity over a long service life. Terminals are wired internally, so an electrician can dress the conductors and land them without fighting the back box. The panel material is high quality PC, self-extinguishing and flame retardant.

Double sockets earn their place beside beds, desks, TV units and kitchen worktops, where a single outlet always ends up carrying an adaptor. For contractors fitting out apartments, hostels, offices and shops, this is the line item ordered by the carton rather than the piece. Packed 50 to a carton.
