About this product
A blank plate closes off a back box that is not in use, and the MODI M1-030 is the 3 x 3 size in the M1 range. Installers reach for one when a socket has been moved, when a junction has been left accessible behind the plate, or when a box has been chased into the wall for future use.
Because it is part of the M1 family, the plate matches the switches and sockets around it rather than standing out as an obvious patch, and it is offered in white, gold and grey. The moulding is high-quality PC, self-extinguishing and flame retardant, with the same panel finish used across the series. Fixing is through the standard screw centres of the box, so no separate adaptor is needed.
It is used in homes, offices, hotels and shops during refurbishment and rewiring work, and on new builds where boxes are installed ahead of the final layout being confirmed. Cartons hold 240 pieces, which suits contractors covering a whole site.
