About this product
The M1-031 is the larger 3 x 6 blank plate in MODI's M1 range, sized for the double back boxes that a twin socket or a multi-gang switch would otherwise occupy. It gives a clean, finished face to a box that has been left empty or taken out of service.
Three finishes are stocked, white, gold and grey, so the cover can be matched to the accessories already on the wall instead of interrupting the line of plates. The moulding uses the same high-quality PC as the rest of the series, a self-extinguishing and flame-retardant material, and the plate fixes to the standard screw positions on a double box.
It is fitted during rewires when a socket position is abandoned, on new work where boxes are run in before the final furniture layout is fixed, and in offices and shops where partitions are moved and old outlets have to be made safe and tidy. Trade buyers take it in cartons of 160 pieces.
