STS20224 2000W All-In-One Solar Charge Inverter 24V

An all-in-one unit, the STS20224 puts a 2000W pure sine wave inverter, an MPPT solar charger and a mains charger in one wall-mounted box. It is aimed at households, shops and small offices that want backup and solar in a single purchase, working from a 24V battery bank.

Rated power is 2000W with 4000VA of peak capacity and a stated load motor capability of 1HP, so a pump or compressor of that size can be started. Output is 230V AC as a pure sine wave, with the frequency held at 50Hz or 60Hz within 0.3Hz, and efficiency in AC mode is quoted at better than 95%. Charging comes from either source: MPPT solar charging accepts up to 1600W of PV array, and mains charging runs at up to 60A, which is what determines how fast the 24V bank is brought back after an evening's use. The battery input is rated at 24V with a minimum starting voltage of 22V.

On the solar side, PV open-circuit voltage must stay under 100V DC, with MPPT tracking between 30 and 85V DC and a PV operating window of 30 to 100V DC. Mains input is 220/230V AC accepted across 170 to 280V AC within 2%, with automatic frequency detection. The case measures 378 x 280 x 103mm.
