STS30224 3000W All-In-One Solar Charge Inverter 24V

Where 2000W is not quite enough, the STS30224 offers 3000W in the same all-in-one format: inverter, MPPT solar charger and mains charger together, running from a 24V battery bank. Shops with refrigeration, small workshops and households with a pump are the usual buyers.

The unit is rated at 3000W with 6000VA of peak power and a stated load motor capability of 2HP, useful where a borehole or water pump has to start against a head. Output is a 230V AC pure sine wave, held to 50Hz or 60Hz within 0.3Hz, with AC-mode efficiency quoted above 95%. Battery input is 24V with a 22V minimum starting voltage, and refilling that bank happens either from the array or from the mains at up to 80A of charging current, the figure to look at when the mains returns for only a few hours a day.

Solar input is MPPT tracked between 30 and 85V DC over a 30 to 100V DC operating window, with a maximum PV input power of 1600W and open-circuit voltage under 100V DC. Mains input is 220/230V AC over a 170 to 280V AC range within 2%, detected automatically at 50Hz or 60Hz. The enclosure measures 378 x 280 x 103mm.
